MANAGER

Salary Range $56,485.00 to $80,000.00 + annually

G&S Services Company is a 50+ year old, Colorado-based, family-owned business in the convenience store industry. We are looking for a Convenience Store Manager for our location in Denver, CO. Our managers have a great opportunity for career growth and advancement as seen through many of our managers’ tenure of 10 + years.

To be successful in the manager’s position we require open availability, reliable personal transportation, a phone, and a willingness to work overtime.

Primary responsibilities and expectations include, but are not limited to:

• Actively managing daily store operations by:
• hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling employees
• directing staff in maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the store
• completing daily paperwork, understand cash control and security
• completing daily checklists
• order and communicate with vendors, check in deliveries accurately
• Ensure product quality, mix and inventory levels are properly maintained to increase sales, control inventory, and meet monthly targets
• Participate in inventory counts each month and cost control
• Lead by example:
• demonstrate and promote high levels of customer service and teamwork
• arrive on time, working a minimum of 50 hours per week. This may include holidays & weekends
• follow all G&S policies and procedures, ensure employees do the same, report to store in case of emergency
• Maintain safety and security of the store
• regular checks of the store & property
• Engage with the community to promote the store and retain customers
• Other duties as requested

• Strong leadership, planning, communication, customer engagement and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Multi-tasking, problem solving, motivational skills, friendliness and willingness to work as a team
• Organization, time management and detail orientated
• Ability to be flexible with work schedule - may include days, nights, weekends, holidays and on-call
• Previous retail, fast-food management experience, or convenience store manager background preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability both to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis and to stand on your feet for long periods of time
• Microsoft Office, Excel/Word/Outlook

Assistant Manager

Compensation Range $38,043 to $56,485

We are looking for a Convenience Store Assistant Manager for our location in Denver, CO. Our assistant managers have a great opportunity for career growth and advancement as seen by many of our employees’ tenure of 10 + years.

To be successful in the assistant manager’s position we require open availability, reliable personal transportation, a phone, and a willingness to work overtime.

Primary responsibilities and expectations include:

• Actively assist in managing daily store operations by:
• completing daily paperwork, understanding cash control and security
• completing daily checklists
• order and communicate with vendors, check in deliveries accurately
• directing staff in maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the store
• Assist to ensure product quality, mix and inventory levels are properly maintained to increase sales and control inventory, meet monthly targets
• assist in inventory counts each month and cost control
• Lead by example:
• assume store manager responsibilities when manager is not present in the store, may include making store level decisions
• demonstrate and promote high levels of customer service and teamwork
• arriving on time, working a minimum of 40 hours - may include nights, weekends, and holidays
• follow all G&S policies and procedures, ensure employees do the same, may report to store in case of emergency
• Maintain safety and security of the store
• regular checks of property, pumps, drainage, greenery, carwash, signs, lights
• Engage with the community to promote the store and retain customers
• Other duties as requested
